OBJECTIVES & BENEFITS
The Fashion Network Association (FNA): setting the stage for students and alumnae passionate about fashion to gain industry knowledge through creating, producing and promoting fashion events and publications. Not only does the FNA provide a gateway to meet many other fashion involved individuals, but it also provides members with opportunities to build important life and career skills–leadership, relationship building, teamwork, project management–and experiences to work and network within the San Francisco Bay Area community.
If you are interested in joining the FNA, sign up for our mailing list: email@example.com
and please fill out the application located under the FNA board located to the left of Burk Hall 329 or download it here: Spring 2013 member application and return it to the FNA mailbox in the Consumer Family Studies/Dietics (CFS/D) Department office, located in Burk Hall 329. You can also choose to hand it to any of the FNA officers. Membership dues are $10 per semester. Members will have access to industry trade journals including Women’s Wear Daily and California Apparel News, as well as access to industry events, workshops, guest speakers, and internship and mentorship opportunities. We do not limit membership to those only in the Apparel Design and Merchandising (ADM) Program. The only requirement to join FNA is to have a passion for fashion and its competitive industry.
The Spring 2013 semester meetings will be held every Wednesday, 12:30-1:30 in Burk Hall 226. All members are asked to keep up to date with OrgSync, and anyone that wishes to be added to the mailing list for information on meetings, please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org with your name and e-mail address.
