Start Your Own Fashion Business Class
WHAT: The Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center is offering a five-part class to help you start your own fashion business.
WHY: These classes will help you refine your vision into a successful business plan, help with business assumptions, configure estimated costs and look into funding options, and take what you have learned to form it into a mini business plan. Facilitator Julie Arvan, business owner of New Planet Consulting, will run these 5 classes to jumpstart your fashion business.

First Bay Area Ethical Fashion Night
WHAT: Global Action Through Fashion’s First Bay Area Ethical Fashion Night with food, beverages, music, and ethical vendors.
WHY: This event hopes to stimulate discussion and awareness around socially and environmentally responsible fashion in the Bay Area. Local and global actors will have the opportunity network and learn from each other’s experience. Local producers of fashion and fair trade products will be able to share and sell their work and ethical fashion displays will highlight the latest materials, designs and sourcing techniques.
