Hello fashion lovers!
It’s time for fall and we are all gearing up to find new but comfy items for our wardrobe. For fall, dark rich colors and embroidery are a hit, and can revamp any plain wardrobe.
Two FNA members, Jodie and Sophie, have been helping to promote a textile event. The event, Textile Bazaar: Treasures from Around the World, is being held by the Textile Arts Council, an affiliate of San Francisco, and will hold all the ethnic and unique items you could want for your fall wardrobe or home!
The event is essentially an awesome flea market, with over 30 vendors selling unique and authentic textiles, jewelry, and collectibles they have culminated throughout their wordly travels. You can find wraps, scarves, tapestries, jewelry, books, odds and ends at this event.
It will be held on Oct. 21, a Sunday, from 10am-4pm at Moriarty Hall at St. Anne of the Sunset church in the Sunset on Funston & Judah. We hope to see you there! Look forward to a post about the awesome things we find there.
