The October Calender

Nothing to do in your spare time? Wondering what there is to do in San Francisco? Come check out a few events in the Bay Area; some are free, some require a small fee.

Coming up in a few days is the F3 Fall Fashion Fest; a night of shopping in Union Square where shops will stay open late so you can come out and have fun, shop the discounted price of participating stores in this event, and enjoy some refreshments and entertainment. Just RSVP for a free ticket to the event at http://fallfashionfestsf.eventbrite.com/ and mark October 3rd on your calendar. Most importantly, don’t forget to show up, fashionistas!

Following the Fashion Fest is the Oakland Opera Metrohouse’s 2nd Annual Mad Hatters Ball. Love the opera? How about a rock opera? This event happening on October 6th is for all you Alice in Wonderland folks. The event features a Jabberwocky Fashion Show, a croquet course, and tea service, as well as all things Wonderland. There are prizes for simply being the best Alice and the best tweedle. Come in costume and just pay $10 for entry. No time for a costume but still considering attending the event? Just pay $20 for entry without a costume and enjoy a night of being Alice traversing through Wonderland. Tickets can be found at http://holdmyticket.com/event/151766/
