DIY Workshop

The colder days of San Francisco are beginning to arrive and when its time to stay inside there is just nothing better than crafts! Recently the wonderful ladies of the FNA held a fun filled DIY Workshop. Inspiration was taken from easy how to’s, such as crop tops, razor back tanks, and even workout headbands! Event Coordinator Justine was kind enough to host and President Annie Mak brought an array of delicious red velvet, lemon, and chocolate chip cookies. This also gave some of us the chance to work on halloween costumes and add studs to a simple chambray.

Some of the best DIY’s are when the least amount of supplies are needed and these were just that. For the revamped tops follow these steps.  (http://rabbitfoodformybunnyteeth.com/diy-workout-shirt/) All you need is an old tshirt and scissors.  I recommend using a graphic tee or even an old band tee to add more edge. You can even take it a step further and create a design on a plain tee such as a Moon Phases tee (https://fnasf.files.wordpress.com/2013/11/moonphases.jpg)

The headbands (http://rabbitfoodformybunnyteeth.com/diy-workout-headband/) are perfect to make using scraps from the old tshirts. If you want to take it to another level why not add different fabrics to make it an everyday headband, not just for working out!

With the holidays just right around the corner, these easy DIY’s are perfect stocking stuffers!

Until next time,
