FNA first bonding event was a success! FNA had their first spring semester bonding event on Sunday, March 16 at the adorable restaurant, American Cupcake! Every member who was able to attend appeared to have a great time socializing, gushing over their food (which was really good!), and enjoying the American Cupcake experience.

The event had taken place during brunch on Sunday, March 16th. Vice President of FNA, Sophie Calzada, was the first to arrive for the gathering. The restaurant tables were nicely set up for the FNA members. As the rest of FNA waited for their fellow members to arrive, they gushed over the modern white interior design of American Cupcake and its crazy LED lights on the ceiling.

American Cupcake is known for their out-of -the-box menu and cooky cupcakes. Their crazy menu can range from red velvet fried chicken to mac n cheese pancakes, pink popcorn to fried oreos, making their menu a daring combination of indulgence. Located in the Marina District in San Francisco, the restaurant stands out it’s modern white interior with bold lettering of American Cupcake.

The FNA members seemed to enjoy their time at the restaurant, where they dived right into their food and took lots of selfies.

At the end of the brunch, President of FNA Melissa Landeros was able to bring the last minute accessories from JustFab that were supposed to be handed out during the Mardi Gras event, due to late delivery. The gifts from JustFab were jewelry pieces varying from rings, bracelets, to ring-bracelets. Each member were allowed to choose two accessories to keep for themselves as a parting gift. Before officially ending the brunch, a few FNA members wanted to try the American Cupcake crazy cupcakes! Their cupcakes ranged from pixie stick cupcakes to salted caramel. Of course, some members were stuffed from their meal, while others dived right in try the cupcakes.

After brunch, FNA members took their first group photo. What do you think?

Sincerely,

Sade
